    franchise owners.

A registered franchise brand gives lenders something an independent startup cannot: documented investment ranges and a proven model. We use that to build a fundable file across SBA, equipment and working capital sources.

    The short answer

Franchise funding is financing structured around a franchise system rather than an untested startup. Because the brand has a track record and documented unit economics, lenders will underwrite a first unit on the franchisor Item 7 investment range, the franchise agreement and the operator background, most often through SBA 7(a) with a 10 to 20 percent equity injection.

    Frequently asked questions

Is a franchise easier to finance than an independent startup?
Usually yes. A registered franchise brand gives underwriters documented investment ranges, a proven operating model and, in many systems, historical unit performance, which removes much of the guesswork that makes independent startups hard to approve.
Does the brand need to be in the SBA Franchise Directory?
For SBA financing the brand must have a valid SBA franchise identifier code on file. Our intake checks the current directory as you type the brand name so you know before you apply. Brands outside the directory can still pursue conventional, equipment or unsecured structures.
What can be financed inside a franchise project?
The franchise fee, real estate and build-out, equipment and signage, opening inventory, grand opening marketing, training and opening payroll, and a working capital reserve. Lenders want the whole project funded, not just the fee.
